Description

The Lactation and Meditation Room features the following room arrangements:

• Private room with lock
• Lounge chair and side table with access to wall outlets
• Desk with access to wall outlets
• Coat closet
• Floor lamp
• White noise machine
• Meditation cushion and bench
• Prayer mat and yoga mat

The room is also stocked with the following supplies. Please notify library staff if supplies are missing:

• Hand sanitizer
• Disinfecting wipes
• Tissues
• Gallon storage bags
• Milk storage bags
• Breast pump quick clean wipes

Note: The Lactation and Meditation Room is not equipped with a breast pump, refrigerator, or sink. Visitors must provide their own breast pump. Visitors may utilize the sink and refrigerator in the library’s first floor kitchen.

Online reservations can only be made by OU affiliates with an ou.edu or ouhsc.edu email address. Non-OU affiliates can make a reservation of this room by calling the Library’s Front Desk at 918-660-3220.

If the room is not available, OU-Tulsa students, faculty, and staff can use the other Lactation rooms on campus although pre-registration is required: https://www.ou.edu/tulsastudentaffairs/services/lactation.
