Scholar Squad Research Spotlight: Oklahoma Housing Needs Assessment In-Person

Shelter is a fundamental need for Oklahoma residents to build a safe, healthy, and prosperous life. The Oklahoma Housing Needs Assessment is a public web portal created to assist policymakers and housing developers estimate the supply and demand of housing in Oklahoma to better meet the housing needs of residents. The assessment is a collaborative effort by a multi-disciplinary team of OU students and faculty sponsored by a grant from the Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency. Learn about the research and development process they used to build it.

This session will be led by Shawn Schaefer, Program Director of the OU-Tulsa Urban Design Studio.

Scholar Squad is OU-Tulsa's informal support group for those interested/involved in research and other scholarly activities. Scholar Squad meetings are held monthly during the academic year and are open to all at OU-Tulsa, including faculty, staff, students, and residents.
